My Story

Starting my career in commercial framing and drywall in California in the early 80s, I built a foundation of understanding projects from start to finish. I knew that the details mattered and I became determined to master the field construction craft before I began my corporate climb. That determination would carry me into positions with National and Global restaurant chains where I led and managed various Development departments.

Joining SMF Companies as the Chief Operations officer has brought my career full circle, returning to my love of building out spaces. I am excited to be sharing this knowledge and best practices with a group of talented and dedicated Project Managers, Superintendents and Field personnel.

​

When I am not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, working out, exploring new areas and restaurants, and spending time outdoors.

 

What I've built: Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, Uno’s Restaurants, Subway, Johnny Rocket's, Frida's Mexican Cuisine, Bondi Australian Pub, Rubio's, Carrow's & Coco's.
